Seville in One Day: An Itinerary Around the Alcázar

One day is enough to see the heart of Seville, as long as you book two things ahead: the Real Alcázar and the Cathedral. Everything else on this plan is free and within walking distance.

Why this order

• The Alcázar opens earliest and its gardens are best before the heat. The first slot is also the calmest inside. See the best time to visit.
• The cathedral opens later (10:45 – 19:00 Monday to Saturday) and is indoors, so it suits the afternoon.
• Plaza de España is open and free, and its tiles and canal look their best in the low evening light.

In summer
