The Alcázar opens earliest and its gardens are best before the heat. The first slot is also the calmest inside. See the best time to visit.
The cathedral opens later (10:45 – 19:00 Monday to Saturday) and is indoors, so it suits the afternoon.
Plaza de España is open and free, and its tiles and canal look their best in the low evening light.
