Terms of Use

These terms apply to everyone who reads realalcazarseville.com. They are short on purpose. If anything here is unclear, write to contact@realalcazarseville.com and we will explain it in plain language.

What this site is

An independent guide to visiting the Real Alcázar of Seville, published by Simon York. It is not the monument's website, it is not run by the Patronato del Real Alcázar or by any public body, and we do not sell entry tickets. The official site is alcazarsevilla.org and its official ticket shop is alcazardesevilla.infoticketing.com.

Using the site

Read it, print it, take it with you. You may quote a passage with a link back. What you may not do is republish the text wholesale, or pass it off as your own. The photographs are a separate matter: each one carries its own licence from its own author, listed on the photo credits page, and reuse follows that licence, not these terms.

Accuracy, and its limits

Prices, opening hours and closures are checked against official sources and each page shows the date of its last check. They change, sometimes at a day's notice and sometimes without any. Confirm with the official site before you travel. We do not promise the site is free of error, and we cannot take responsibility for a journey, a booking or a cost incurred on the strength of information that has since changed.

Bookings and affiliate links

Some links to guided tours are affiliate links. If you book through one, the booking platform may pay us a commission; you pay the same price either way.

The important part: the contract is between you and the tour operator, through the platform. Not with us. Prices, availability, what is included, cancellation, refunds and complaints are all theirs, under their terms, and a problem with a booking has to be taken up with them. We have no access to your booking and cannot change or cancel it.

Links to other sites

Where we link outward we do so because the page was useful on the day we checked. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they later say or do.

Liability

This is a free guide, offered as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude liability for loss arising from its use.

What the law does not allow us to exclude, we do not try to: nothing in these terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer under the law of the country you live in, and nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version, and a change applies from the day it appears — it is not applied backwards.
