Alcázar, Cathedral and Giralda in One Day: How to Plan It

Yes, you can see both in one day. The Real Alcázar and Seville Cathedral (with its Giralda tower) stand on opposite sides of the Plaza del Triunfo. Do the Alcázar first thing in the morning, the Cathedral after lunch, and allow five to six hours in total. The easiest way to do both is a combined guided tour.

One UNESCO site, three buildings

The Cathedral, the Alcázar and the Archivo de Indias between them were listed together as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. The Archivo stands on the same square. Give it ten minutes from the outside even if you do not go in.
